Included in this collection are the albums Do It (’Til You’re Satisfied), Non-Stop, Energy To Burn, Function At The Junction, Shout! (Shout It Out), 1980 and Keep It Up. These recordings capture B.T. Express at their peak, blending infectious funk grooves, driving rhythms and polished R&B production that defined the sound of the mid-to-late 1970s.

The set features the band’s R&B #1 hits, including Do It (’Til You’re Satisfied) and Express, as well as the original 7-inch versions of both tracks. Additional fan favourites such as Give It What You Got, Peace Pipe, Can’t Stop Groovin’ Now, Wanna Do It Some More and Shout It Out highlight the group’s signature blend of dancefloor energy and tight musicianship.

Formed in Brooklyn, the group originally recorded as the Madison Street Express, rehearsing on Madison Street before adopting the name B.T. Express—short for Brooklyn Transit. Their breakthrough debut album Do It (’Til You’re Satisfied) was recorded in 1974 at Ultra-Sonic Recording Studios in Hempstead, Long Island, with producers Jeff Lane and Trade Martin, and arranger Randy Muller, also known for his work with Brass Construction. The album went on to achieve Gold certification, firmly establishing the band on the international funk and R&B scene.

Completing this package are extensive sleeve notes by respected music journalist Lois Wilson, offering valuable historical context and insight into the band’s career. This four-CD set is an essential release for fans of classic funk, R&B and disco, and a fitting tribute to one of New York’s greatest groove-driven bands.
