Gary Bartz ? Music Is My Sanctuary (1977)

This saxophonist who worked with Charlie Mingus, Art Blakey and Mc Coy Turner made this excellent album in a much less jazzy and funkier vein. The production by the Mizell brothers (Donald Byrd, Taste Of Honey) contributes a lot to its success and StevieWonder?s ex-wife Syreeta provides the vocal.
